Sara Becnel, Managing Partner of The Agency Northwest Florida Beaches, first met Sammy at A-Fest, a world-renowned community of leaders and visionaries, and later reconnected with him at a Maverick retreat—another community-driven experience focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, and connection. These circles are highly selective, welcoming only professionals who share values of integrity, creativity, and impact. Sara’s relationship with Sammy reflects the Agency culture of building authentic partnerships, rooted in respect and shared vision.

Abandoned at birth in the Philippines and found in a shoebox at a city dump, he overcame unimaginable beginnings to become an internationally recognized DJ, speaker, and changemaker. His story of resilience and transformation is as powerful as the energy he brings to every event he touches.
Today, Shoebox Moses has shared the stage with global icons like Akon, Avicii, and Steven Aoki. He’s played at venues from Ibiza to Las Vegas, and at transformational gatherings like A-Fest and Mindvalley, inspiring thousands of people with his beats and his story. He’s also the founder of The Founder’s Impact Project, an initiative dedicated to supporting underprivileged children in the Philippines.

As part of launch week, Hotel Effie Sandestin will host an exclusive Sip & Shop with Bal Harbour Shops on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Guests can enjoy curated fashion from world-renowned designers like Balmain, Valentino, and Brunello Cucinelli, paired with craft cocktails and light bites inside Hotel Effie’s penthouse suites. The experience begins with private shopping appointments from 11 AM – 2 PM, followed by an open-to-the-public showcase from 2 – 6 PM, offering a rare opportunity to preview and purchase luxury fashion in an intimate coastal setting.
